Texas built America’s energy backbone, and this project strengthens it. The Western Gateway Pipeline keeps Texas-made fuel competitive in fast-growing Western markets and delivers a durable ad valorem tax base for counties benefiting schools, public safety, and hospitals. By transporting fuel through pipelines instead of trucks or rail, we help reduce traffic, minimize road wear, and lower safety risks. And we do it without shorting Texas — 100% of our existing commitments will be met. Texas supply remains secure while Western markets gain added reliability.  Refined products from Texas refineries will have access to the Western Gateway Pipeline in El Paso.
