New Mexico

New Mexico is an essential part of the U.S. energy industry, and with more than 7,000 miles of regulated liquids pipelines already operating across the state, the impacts and benefits of similar pipeline projects are familiar. Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan are committed to respectful interactions with the land and the people that inhabit it. The Western Gateway Pipeline will be designed to use existing corridors and co-location to minimize our footprint and avoid sensitive environmental areas and tribal lands. The Western Gateway Pipeline's route will not impact any federally recognized tribal lands in New Mexico. With that said, we are committed to working with tribal leaders to ensure that historic sacred sites and cultural resources are identified early in the process, and we commit to meaningful and respectful stakeholder engagement.
